Question Should I buy 5070 or 9070?

Price of both cards in my place are same.
5070 seems better ray tracing, now games have forced ray tracing , but as per reviews less raster performance and 12GB than 9070.

So I'm unable to pick. Require solid suggestion among two for future proof gaming..

Right now I'm using 1080p but might go to 1440p after 1 year may be.. Using Ryzen 7600 processor..

If they're the same price, go for either but I'd side with AMD's RX 9070. You might want to start looking at the titles you want to game on and if they all perform better on the Nvidia GPU. What is the make, model and age of your PSU?

MSI A750GL psu. I play all AAA titles released..

Future gaming, I would say that 12gb will limit you, much like 8gb limits other GPU's now. I am not sure if Wukong does RT by default or not, but this is the results from the same review. It wasn't included in their RT tests.

I personally would go 9070 it has more vram and the drivers are much better and should continue to get better as time goes on.

Nvidia 5070 is a waste to me. Even if raytacing is enabled you would run out of vram with it's 12gb. Top that off and the unstable launch these cards have had I wouldn't trust it.

Unless the 5070 is significantly cheaper, I would go for the 9070. Similar or better performance all around, with 16GB VRAM instead of 12GB so it should let you use higher quality settings and last a little longer before you need an upgrade.

When it comes to GPU's, none of the brands are necessarily any better than the others. They all may have some specific models that are better or worse, but they all perform about the same, and are all about the same in terms of reliability otherwise. I would get whichever one is cheapest, or that you like the most.

Sapphire models are solid as is power colour.

Just make sure you meet the PSU minimum requirements ( not all 9070 etc are equal).

If i pick 9070 XT Sapphire pulse which is 95$ more than the 9070, then my PSU MSI A750Gl be enough?

AMD says the requirement for a 9070xt. So 750 watt should be ok but that’s pushing to close for my taste. I personally prefer my psu to be rated for a bit higher wattage than what’s required for a little extra headroom.

yes
your processor (7600) consumes very little power while gaming (well below 100w)
9070xt even accounting for short power spikes will not go above 450w ,
the rest of your typical system (1-2 drives and a few fans) consumes next to nothing
(below 50w of power)
so your power supply still has some power to spare ,
also it´s not like this is some no name 750w unit unable to deliver its rated power ...
granted in the long run it´s best if the psu is operating at 50-60% of its capacity under load
but you are well within the safe margins also .

So in light of the last post, it should work but I would say if you get the 9070xt, go ahead and start putting away a little money here and there and whenever you come across a deal on a higher wattage unit in a few months go ahead and pick it up.
