I'm guessing that you are DHCP connected with your Ethernet to the Router?
Why not ADD your dhcp mac address on the Router and make it first master Address on the Routers Mac configuration. When someone connects to a WIFI network VIA DHCP it will automatically shift dhcp ip/mac addresses and codes with other peoples dhcp IP/MAC address.maybe thats why your Latency/Ping jump so high.

Login to your Routers IP address (IP given on or under the Router itself or Find it online via Google search with your Routers name and model number)
Then Find your Computers Mac address and Insert your Mac Address in the routers configuration. That will keep your mac address and DHCP Ip address so when someone Connects to the Wifi their DHCP IP/MAC addresses is going to change and not yours that will make an stable connection as well.(Its almost like connecting to like an Static IP address)
You can try to use a Alternative DNS server By adding 8.8.8.8 in Your Network Protocal IPv4 DNSTab in Network Ethernet Adapter in Settings
I dunno if its gonna work tho but i just gave my suggestions that might work for you... :benetton::benetton::benetton:
