My left shift inputs dash and shift key

my acer laptop is having some problem. when i pressed the shift key the dash key also has been input.. i don't know if this is possible becaulse left shift and dash key is far from each other..I also try disabling the dash key so that only left shift key will be the only one to be input but no luck the dash key still enters, but when i pressed the dash key the dash key doesn't work because i know i already disabled it.. any help would be appreciated and sorry for my bad english

plug in external keyboard and see if it persists, also try booting into safe mode and see if it happens, could be a virus or the key could just be physically stuck down underneath

its not being stuck,its maybe because some moisture build-up inside the laptop..better bring it to technicians if you dont know how to open the case or locate the cable connecting to the keyboard..as far as i know,moistures may cause short circuit inside the MOBO.

Were you able to find the solution for it? Even i am facing the same issue and it's pretty irritating. It would be great if you could share your fix here.
