I have the Asus ze70-e motherboard.
I'm trying to install the sata WD blue m.2 500 gb
I have windows 10 and its up to date

download the first one?

if you can screen capture storage management first before installing the driver, your disk might be present there and jus not initialized since it's recognized by crystaldiskinfo

yes the first driver, you can find it also on Asus motherboard support website ( but older driver)

In crystal disk info your shows your new drive is recognized but listed under the letter C, which is the same as your boot drive, since your new drive is not accessible to change it's letter, try to go in the BIOS and insure that your older Drive is the only choice in the boot device (disable the other entries).

Any NVMe driver entry in you device manager ?

i changed all my bios settings for my kingston ssd to be the only boot option and still nothing

I am thinking your NVMe drivers are not up to the task, but two drives with same letter is mind warping!
If you're not tired yet let's try :
detach the New WD M.2 sata SSD from the motherboard, boot your system, shut down, re-install, boot windows, double check bios settings correct for M2_1 AUTO (or sata), boot in windows.

1: Restore BIOS to its Factory Settings (when you get into BIOS, you could press F9, then F10)

2: "Enable" - "Secure Boot" Option under "Security"

Change "Boot Mode" to "UEFI" under "Boot"

Change "SATA Controller Mode" from "RAID" to "AHCI"

Save and Exit

3: Update the BIOS to its Latest version

4: Now check the BIOS, Device Manager, and Disk Management

install the Intel Rapid Storage Technology (Intel RST) RAID Driver from manufacturer’s official website.

If the issue still insists, you need to contact the manufacturer’s official support.
