My computer has had so many annoying issues recently, and I can't figure out the problems. I have only discord and fire fox open and it uses 50% memory on task manager. I literally have nothing open! And usually it would be around 30%. Ever since yesterday when I was updating my stupid Amd software it caused my pc to be unusable. While updating my computer suddenly turned into a black screen of death w/cursor but I still couldn't do anything. I couldn't open anything and my computer would just not work. I rebooted and system restored. Luckily, this all worked, but today my computer feels different from yesterday before the tragic event. It feels slower, and also why do I lose gb's when I do system restores. I noticed that every time I do a system restore I lose gb's. For instance I had about 380 gb's before system restore, and after I was left with about 360 gb's, I need help to figure out what happened.

Today, I ran a bunch of commands in command prompt like sfc /scan, and Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
but it found nothing wrong with my pc. I searched for a virus but nothing showed up. I used core temp to check if my computer was over heating and it showed my cores were around 30-40 c around idle. My max tj. is 100 c. I restarted my computer a couple of times but it was still the same. My computer graphics card is a AMD radeon R7 200x (Just in case you guys needed to know) I used Treesize to look for a problem, but I didn't know where to look. Furthermore, I used disk cleaner and ccleaner but it was of no use, and I only got around 100 mbs back. Also my computer loses space randomly and I haven't downloaded anything, but it just goes! And I haven't figured out where it has went. This has been happening for quite some time now, but its starting to bug me a lot! I hate losing space without an explanation. My bios when starting up is really slow too! Its about 17 seconds, but its always taken long but, I want to see if there is anything I could do about it. I've already turned off every startup application and it has gotten me nowhere! My pc is all jumbled and I can't fix it please please help I'd appreciate it a lot.

You haven't had this problem before? You mentioned you only have 8gb of RAM, I'm surprised you hadn't seen issues earlier... Windows by itself (without any infection) can use about 3gb of RAM at idle.
I have Firefox open right now, with an extra tab in the background and it's using up to almost a gigabyte of RAM by itself, especially when typing.
If you only have 8gb, that's going to be a more decent chunk. Yes, it does accommodate a little more so for the lower RAM cap, but this is still to be expected even with a normally functioning PC.
My PC is currently using 6gb of RAM at mostly idle (~36%), but since I have 16gb, it's not as great of an impact.

Go to Task Manger, Processes, show all details, and click on RAM to sort by highest usage descending. It will show you what's using the RAM and how much it's using.

One thing you could do is try reseating the RAM on the DIMM slots, and check to see if your have dual-channel in either the 1 and 3 or 2 and 4 DIMM slots - this is commonly the best for most motherboards.
