My mic is outputting audio output

Hello, I have bought a mic ~1 week ago. At first it worked normally, however after a few days I started having this weird problem. On any program, the mic would output whatever my audio outputted, like if I was on Skype, the other person would hear my you tube video despite having my headphones on. And it doesn't pick up my voice at all. I've tried the mic on my laptop and it works. I've tried other mics on my desktop and they work. My drivers are up to date, what's wrong with my computer? I am running a custom built computer without a sound card and an Intel i5 5670k processor. The mic I bought is the audio technica ATR4650.

Go to panel control, then open the sound window, get to the recording tab, and open your microphone properties, there go to the listen tab and uncheck the listen to this device option.

I've already tried that. It was never checked in the first place
