My mic is picking up desktop audio

windows 10, using a blackweb headphone/mic, it goes to 1 audio jack, splits to 2 for mic and headphones, i can hear everything just fine, but everyone else on discord and via my stream is hearing an echo because the mic is picking up desktop audio and broadcasting it from my microphone array. I have 3 other computers that do not have this issue, but my new laptop for mobile streaming wont stop doing this... ive looked for 3 hours through other threads, and nothing else is working

i fixed it myself. by doing exactly the opposite of what other people said the fix was

Can you be a little more specific. I am having the same problem.
