Recently I upgraded my motherboard and CPU, and after getting everything up and running I noticed an issue where Windows was detecting both my stand mic and my headset, but it wasn't detecting audio from either one.
I tried updating the audio drivers, and the BIOS and I also tried using the troubleshoot tool to no avail. I checked in device manager and both mic and headset were shown there with no warnings. I uninstalled both devices to see if that would help and I checked the connections on the motherboard. So far I feel like I've tried everything but since I'm not a tech guru I've been trying to get some advice from online forums. If you have any advice that may help me fix my issue the input would be much appreciated.
