My micro SD card wont download pictures but the music i have is fine?

i have been trying everything, i formatted my phone, i deleted some storage (i have 774mb/2gb free on my sd card.) My samsung galaxy prevail is my phone. nothing shows up on my sd card other than music. (when i got to galary, it says "No SD card Detected")
