Laptop Model: Lenovo Ideapad 3-15IIL05 - 81WE

OS: Windows 11

Please I need help. Here's what I did but still persists:

  1. BIOS set to Default Settings.
  2. Tried both UEFI and Legacy Boot
  3. Disabled LENOVO ACPI ***
  4. Pressed Powerbutton 60 seconds and reboot
  5. Reinstalled Fresh Windows 11
  6. Updated BIOS to the newest version.
After above first troubleshooting. So I am still experiencing freezing about a minute or 2 after start up without charger plugged in. But if put the charger back before booting, it works normally.

Could it be a damaged battery? I bought this one used 🙁

I can replace the storage if ever but hopefully not a board issue.

Thankyou

I would suspect a faulty battery, not able to supply enough juice to power the system sucessfully. If it works fine on charger power then strong doubts it's a faulty hardware problem. Won't fully know until you use a fully charged working battery.

Buy a legitimate original part number replacement.
So called "compatible" replacements may not have the necessary circuitry.

Yes, it will cost more.
Oh my, I just ordered already and yes you are correct: I cannot find local supplier for the exact model that is attached to my laptop its - L16L2PB3 and I bought this model -> L16L2PB2

Maybe I'll try this first coz its a bit urgent. 🙁
