My Microsoft account is still a child's account

I was unable to use Cortana after upgrading to Windows 10 as my account age was set to 12 however after changing it and restarting my PC I still cannot use Cortana as my account is still a child's account. How do I change this?

Try removing your Microsoft account (switch to local account), then re-add it.
