Hello

I have a Windows 7 Lenovo laptop, and I use it with my 22" Sharp TV/monitor (with a standard PC cable). It's widescreen, and I have the resolution set at 1366 x 768.

This has worked without issue for over three years now, however earlier today the display on my TV squashed itself into the middle of the screen (something like you would see in a traditional 4:3 monitor), however the resolution hadn't been altered once.

I was using my PC earlier today with no problems, and this seemed to happen out of nowhere. Regular TV and my Xbox both still happily play at full screen with no distortion / squashing.

When I right click on the desktop, Graphics Options > Panel Fit > maintain Aspect Ratio brings my display back to the right proportions, but off centre (there is a larger border on the left than on the right), and with the clock and most of the other icons on that side of the screen pushed off (and obviously with a very large black border).

I've tried turning everything off, unplugging everything and firing it all back up but this hasn't helped. When I disconnet the TV the screen on my laptop is normal, however when I change the display options settings to mirror both screens the same border appears on my Laptop.

I've also tried a different VGA cable and this hasn't worked.

I have a Mobile Intel 4 Series Express Chipset, and according to the Windows automatic update the driver for this is already up to date (also I cannot understand how, after over three years of working just fine, the drivers would suddenly go mad and cause this).

CCleaner and MalwareBytes have been ran but haven't solved the problem (CCleaner found 947 other problems though!!), and Comodo and Avast are up to date.

I have absolutely no idea what has caused this, and everything I thought might be the solution has so far failed. This is my Display Configuration file exported as .txt...
