My monitor says hdmi not detected or not working. Can you help?

My specs is GTX 660 intel i5 4330 and 8gb ram and watercooler and my motherbaord is msi h81m-p33 please help i keep trying but ut say hdmi mo signal i have tried vga bur doesnt work still no signal and gpu is still spinning tho the fan and all my system is still spinning help please

Has this system ever worked properly? What make/model is your power supply? Does the system work if you remove the GTX 660 and use the integrated video controller?

Yes my system did work probably i just got a new psu and case the power supply is evga 500watts 80+ and no it doesn't it say VGA or hdmi no signal from just motherbaord and gpu

Double check all of your connections to make sure all are properly attached.

Also, look at the back of your case. Make sure none on the I/O Plate tabs (atx panel) are sticking into any ports. Sounds like you may have a short from moving rig into new case.

I would remove the motherboard from the system and see if it boots outside of the case. See this guide for help:

Make sure your memory is installed properly. It is possible that you damaged a component moving your devices into the new case.

Does your system still work with your old PSU?

I don't have my old psu but my ram is installed propaly how can I tell what component is making it not display and there is no beep sound either plz help so I can buy a new one

The way to isolate the problem is to swap working parts to figure out which one(s) is defective.
