its an asrock 990fx extreme3. im wondering how did this happen.

My other components if matters:

amd fx8350 (never overclocked)
deepcool Lucifer (with push and pull fan system)
gskill rip jawsx 16gb ddr3 (4gbx4) 1866 cl9
corsair rm750 psu
powercolor r9 280x 3gb v2
 


no, I haven't. the psu is new, just bought it 2 months ago. could it be the culprit?
 


im from south east asia and i bought it from a local store. sadly its 2 years beyond its warranty.



i have to buy a new mobo but im afraid that it might be the psu. there is no way for me to test if it is indeed the reason. or is there a way for me to find out if the psu is malfunctioning?
