Question My mouse doesn't plug in correctly

Hi! So, i need some help here.. I tried a new SnakeByte Gaming Mouse on my computer because my old one's scroll wheel broke, and one of the parts went missing. I tried to plug it into my pc, but it didn't fit in entirely. It did register on my PC that it was on and the green light was coming off the mouse, meaning that it was plugged in and i did get to move it, but i saw that the mouse couldn't get fully plugged in, meaning that the DPS was fluctuating. I tried it on a few other devices (2 laptops and 1 other computer), they all worked just fine. It's only acting up for the PC i mainly use. Anyone got any ideas of how to fix? Thanks.
