Hello, there's something weird going on with my wireless mouse (Logitech G602) whenever I connect a second display to my laptop my cursor sometimes randomly lags and kind of teleports a few inches away. I think it has something to do with when my laptop loads stuff. However I do not have this when I only connect 1 monitor to my laptop. This is very annoying and makes all games unplayable. I tried a diffrent mouse (A very cheap one) and I didn't have this problem.

What I tried to fix this:
- A COMPLETE reset of Windows 10 deleting ALL my data.
- Deleted and reinstalled my mouse from Device Manager.
- Deleted and reinstalled Logitech Gaming Software
- Moved the Wireless dongle to other USB ports.
- Changed Batteries
- Reinstalled my graphics drivers.

None of this worked. I really really hope someone has a fix to this because this makes my laptop unusable with this mouse.

Hello ImproveGhost

Since a cheap mouse didn't come up with any issues, I was wondering if you can use the culprit mouse on any other laptop, probably borrowed from any of your friends?

This would help you confirm if it is the mouse that is problematic and not the laptop or the operating system.

Also, can you please confirm if you have the Correct Mouse Driver installed on your PC, and that the graphics driver is up-to-date?

Feel free to report back for any further assistance.

Good Luck!!

Hello! Thanks for the fast response! Really appreciate it!
I updated it's firmware through the link provided but it didn't help.
I tested the mouse on a diffrent PC also running Windows 10 and it didn't have the issue.
My graphics drivers are up to date aswell since I updated them a week ago.

Hello again ImproveGhost

Can you please confirm since when are you facing the issue? I mean, is there any particular app or update that was installed after which the problem started?

Also, if the graphics driver is latest, can you please try removing it and installing its earlier version? Many times this does the trick.

Cheers!! :)

I get the issue when I connect a second monitor to my laptop through minidisplayport. The mouse lags are sometimes random but most of the time it lags when I open stuff like a browser or something or when the cursor icon changes from a normal cursor to for example a hand when you hover over a link, but it also happens ingame.

Thanks again for your help. 😉

Hello again ImproveGhost

Although it may sound unrelated because of my ignorance, did you try changing the screen resolution?

Good Luck!!

I changed the resolution to 900p/720p but that didn't fix it either. Both of my displays are connected to the Intel HD Graphics 530, not to my GTX 970M. I also tried switching it to the 970M but it didn't change anything. It does seem to be more rare now, I just played a full match of Battlefield 4 without a problem, but when I quit and closed the browser it lagged again for like 1 second. Hope this info helps, I really want this fixed :)

Thanks!

Hello again

Can you please check the reply by Clément Vilmin in this thread? It looks like this guy found the solution.

Cheers!! :)

I think that fixed it!! Changed the text cursor icon to something else and I think it's fixed! I will report back after a while since it can be by accident. But thanks in advance!! :)
