Hello!
I have Logitech G402 mouse. I bought it like 3 months ago.
Today, in the morning, I was playing Witcher 3. And it suddenly stopped working. I unplugged and plugged it again. And it said "USB Device not recognized. The last USB device connected to the computer has malfunctioned and Windows cannot recognize it."
The thing is, I know that the above message usually means that the mouse is probably dead now and its useless to have any hopes at all. I have used 100s of cheap 5$ mice before and I am now used to this.
But the thing is, its different this time. Usually, the mice start to die gradually. Like, the first time, the mouse doesn't work and when you plug it again, it works fine. And after a week or so, you have to re plug it several times, adjust its wire and then it works fine. However, my G402 stopped working suddenly. I have never had any issues before this. This is the first time. And adjusting the wire doesn't help at all. I restarted the PC, didnt help. I connected the mouse to a smart TV, didnt help. I connected the mouse to my smartphone via an OTG, didnt help.
I have neither treated the mouse roughly nor have I ever dropped it on the floor.
One thing I have noticed is that, the LED at the bottom of the mouse lights up as it should when I connect it. The LED is dim. I have to peek into it to see the red dim light. Thats how its supposed to be, though. It was the same when I bought it too. So I guess thats working fine? But the Logitech logo on the mouse doesnt work and of course, it doesnt work. No clicks, no movement.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you.
