I just bought a MSI Nvidia Geforce GTX 970 4GB ( The 2X Armor Edition)
After playing Assassin's Creed Unity on ultra Graphics (everything maxed out) ,,,, after playing it for 15 minutes i get 76 degree temperature !
I dont know why ?
Does this MSI 2X Armor Edition does not have a twin frozr V cooling system ??
My case has 2 x 80mm cooling fans on side and 1 x 80mm fan on the rear , but still i get 70-76 degree temperature when running Assassin's Creed Unity ???
Help !!!!

Yea its good but its better to get a case with no holes in the side window like mine. It haves better insulation and makes better airflow.

You can attach case fans into the case and not to motherboard and it haves Low speed, High speed, and off switch on the top of the case to control you fans with the switch. By the way the fans are working faster than pluged in the motherboard (when high speed).
The white line on top front of the case goes blue when the pc starts and fans are also bleu 120mm.
In order to cool more your GPU you need input air and exhaust. Front in back out via static fans with high RPM to make a airflow into the case. In case you can increase GPU fans about 10% with afterburner. But 75-80c is the native temps for GPUs. Its absolutely normal.

Not necessarily - it sounds more like a circulation problem than a case problem. If you set your fans up correctly so that air flows through both the front and bottom parts of the case and moves air out, not recirculates, that should clear up the heating issues. But if that doesn't work then yeah a new case might be in order.

I am not refer to the case especially. Case may have holes in side window were i had on, a old one of me, but was also just fine. GPUs are unfortunately hot working.... ahh... And i wanted 2000MHz...

When was the last time you considered a case with 80 mm fans? They havent been used in performance cases for more than a decade .
Each on has less than half the area of a 120 mm fan and will move a fraction of the airflow .

We dont know what the OP's case is . But we can suspect very strongly it has minimal airflow and cooling

Yeah that is a good point. It could be an air flow problem, but cases that use fans that tiny generally don't leave room for that kind of circulation. I guess unless we know the case it would be difficult to diagnose the problem.

Gotta ask...what's your GPU fan curve like? I have the the 980 Ti in Armor 2X but my one reaches 75C only during FurMark (with 99% usage). Witcher 3 stays at 68C - 70C and Fallout 4 doesn't go over 60C.

I do have good ventilation in the case but also use pretty agressive GPU fan curve (70C is 100% fan speed) so give that a go as well?
