There are two sites (from local network) listed in My Network Places that don't exist anymore. Can someone tell me how to delete them from the list? Clicking or right-clicking on them doesn't do anything except make the screen nonresponsive.

In Windows XP you can delete stored network places by clearing them from this registry key: MyComputer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\PublishingWizard\AddNetPlace\LocationMRU.

On the right side of the registry will be MRUList and other entries. Delete items that you want to remove by right clicking on the item and selecting delete.
