My new build boots up and shuts down almost instantly, help ?

Hi guys, I’m building my first gaming pc and after installing everything, the build boots ups and shuts down instatntly there is a small red LED on my Z370 E ASUS motherboard which flashes next to CPU, I’m guessing this indicates that my I7-7700K is either faulty or causing an issue, any ideas on how to help ?

Hi guys, I have just started my first gaming build, after installing everything, the build powers and shuts off almost instantly, the small little LED on the Z370 E ASUS motherboard flashes red next to CPU (I7-7700K) which indicates that’s the problem, any fixes that come to mind or is it an RMA ?

7700K is NOT compatible with Z370 E motherboard - it only accepts 8th gen CPU and your 7700K is 7th gen.
