my new graphic card burned

Hi, iam from india and iam new in this line.. and my english is very bad. I apolozise for that.one week ago I have build my computer on my own for the first time, iam a noob.
My specs are
Gpu zotac gtx 760 2gb
Cpu amd fx 6f00
Mother board gigabyte ga - 78lmt s2p rev 1.2
Ram adata 4gb ddr3 1600 mhz
Smps corsair vs 550 watt
Ups elnova t-640 model
I build this on my own for the first, iam new to gamer.. after build I have played assassins creed 4 for two days after that when I turned on my pc at night my graphic card started to burned. And I don't why.then I turned off the pc for some time after some time again I turned on the pc and that time one of the ic in graphic card burned totally. Plz friends and brothers help me.. I want to know why this happened.. plz help me.. iam very much upset today plzzzzzzzzz help ; (

it actually burned the PCB itself?

Cause - Faulty graphics card (if everything was installed correctly). Case - Very rare.

Solution - You need to buy a new graphics card.

Zotac - Cheap and not the best brand of graphics card suppliers.

First of all.. iam very much thankfull for your kind answer.. and I really appreciate your answer.... may I know were you from ?
And one thing I forgot to mention my ups 3 pin socket was not compatible with the 3 pin cable of of my psu. So I put 5 ampere 3 pin adapter in the ups socket first after that i put the 13a psu 3 pin cable in that adapter.does it the reason for the burning of my graphic
card ??

Card PCB is the graphics card board.

13A is nowhere near enough for a GTX 760. You need a better UPS to run your system. The installation does not sound very clean, it could have been due to that.

Yes the pcb burned itself.. I got 13 a fused cable with that psu itself
I bought that card from flipkart.com and now I have replaced the card.

How come you are using an UPS to power your rig?

My 3 pin psu cable did not fit into the 3 pinvups socket. So I put a 3 pin 5 amp 250 v fused adapter into the 3 pin ups socket first and then I put the 13 a 3 pin psu cable into the adapter. So does it is the reason that burned my card.. ???
One thing I want to ask you sir..
Does no earthing can burn a graphic card ??

That sounds like the cause for your issue.

No earthing meaning?

Graphics cards don't just burn, they can only burn by faulty components or by incorrect/unstable power sources.

1. Faulty card. Fairly likely.
2. Massive overvolting occurred. Not the most likely, but can't be ruled out.
3. Your UPS chucked a tizz and fried it. Considering you were using an adapter of questionable quality, and the unit wasn't that fabulous itself, its probably 2nd most likely.

No problem. I would wire it up correctly and not modify anything to fit. If it does not fit buy a certified and trusted adapter. This said it is unsure if all your other components are unaffected from the incident.

And can you tell me what is the difference in gaming at 768p and 1080p.. ?? Actually my monitors native resolution is 768p, very old monitor 😀

more pixels, greater depth. The difference is noticeable and is what I prefer to game on of the two.

Can I play watch dogs, shadow of mordor at high settings with 4 gb ddr3 ram at 768p resolution ?

yep, that's doable with your setup. FPS, hard to guess. Shadow of Mordor will be a bit of a struggle after seeing latest reviews, though medium should be fine.

And what should be the speed of internet so that I can play them without any lag....
