My NEW Graphics Card isn't being recongized HELP!

I recently just installed a new GPU into my HP P7 1070 and after I uninstalled my drivers I hooked it up and restarted. I installed the drivers but my PC still wont recognize my GPU I have heard people saying to access my BIOS but when I try to I don't have the option. Im currently on the Basic Windows Display Adapter. HELP!

The 700 series graphic cards usually require UEFI BIOS , which that PC doesn't have...Sorry.

Most Pre-builts released before 2012 don't it's a common issue.

Is there anyway I can get UEFI BIOS or do I have to order a new GPU?

No , you can't just add a UEFI BIOS. Would require a board that has one. A card that has legacy BIOS support , might work.

Turns out my graphics card was just mounted wrong, it's now working thank you for the help though!

Glad to hear the good news , most 700 cards won't run on non UEFI Bios pre 2012.
