I decided to replace my GTX 960 Mini with a GTX 1070. The product page for my PC says I have a 600 W PSU but I can only see 1 6-pin connector that's connected to my current card. See image:

I read that such adapter is not recommended.

So do I need a new PSU?

My specs:

Intel Core i7-4790 (4 cores) up to 4Ghz
2Tb SATA3 7200rpm
16Gb DDR3 1600Mhz
DVD-RW Super Multi
ASUS GeForce GTX960 2Gb GDDR5
600W Silent PFC 12cm (I guess it's this one)

Solution
Maximum draw of the reference 1070 is 150w. Pcie slot supplies upto 75w and 6pin also 75w. Thats 150w, there's not much headroom.

8pin supplies 150w. As above, a new psu should be considered.
