Looks pretty good. Only thing I would say is don't rush into the graphics card as I'm pretty sure there will be issues with drivers and possibly hardware when they are first released and the 9800 gtx may in some ways be better for you seeing as you aren't running very large resolutions. The rumors are that the 9800 gtx is going to be twice the power of an 8800 ultra, whereas the 9800 gx2 is meant to be 30% faster than the 8800 ultra. Only rumors but lets wait and see.

Only thing I can say is get a bigger monitor! If your going to be running graphics cards like this you may as well make the most of them by running at 1920 x 1200 or maybe even 2560 x 1600. At 1600 x 1200 with your current monitor, 1 9800 gx2 will be more than enough for almost any game or application at that screen resolution. Not saying you have to buy a new monitor but just a though.

Secondly I'd be careful with that PSU. Make sure it has 2 x 6 pin connectors and 2 x 8 pin connectors for the 9800 gx2 takes 1 x 6 and 1 x 8 pin per card. Because the PSU is split to 650w and 550w, this would mean that you can only use the 650w side for the GPU as the rumored minimum PSU for 1 x 9800gx2 = 580w. The problem would be if you need to run 2 x 9800 gx2 you would have to run one off one side of the PSU and one of the other side. Bit confusing sorry.

Thx for the advice :)

Ya I was still looking into the videocard thing.. But from what I read here http://www.fudzilla.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=5861&Itemid=1
The 9800 GTX will just be another G92 chip.. So will not be twice as fast as 8800 Ultra... I still hope its just fake info and that there's a T200 chip on it.. I don't really know what videocard to buy right now :)

I was not really planning to buy another monitor with it maybe later this year.. Another €1000/2000 euro goes a little too far for now.. But what ur saying is true..

As for the PSU I just checked it has just enough connectors.. But if the rumor is true then there is a slight chance to get some problems at full load with a 1200 watt psu...

Personally I think that 1200w should probably be OK as Nvidia say that you can run 3 x 8800 ultra using a 1100w PSU, although you do have quite a high powered system and you may feel more secure getting something slightly larger. I would wait for the official power requirements to be released before making a decision.

Because I'de rather stay with a quadcore... And I might even clock my cpu a bit higher then 4 gHZ

I know quad is not supported by a lot of program's / games yet.. But still I'd stick with a more future proof one..

@nzxtlexa

I think I will wait for the official power requirements..

Why not get an e8400 an oc to 4ghz???
Quad @ 4Ghz will beat the E8400 once you get into the multi-threaded apps. Even in single-threaded apps., if both are clocked at the same speed then it's going to be a close race.

As for the 2x9800gx2 - Go with only one for the moment or upgrade to a 24-30" monitor actually take advantage of all that graphics horse power you're going to have.

I own to highend systems, and they both have QX9650s. Its a good chip, and with the right cooler you should br able to hit 4.5Ghz and maybe more.I have the new 12TEC Boreas Chiller cooling one,and the new Freezone Elite cooling the other. Both have 4Gbs of PC8500 Dominators.I just went with Tri -SLI on my main rig with 3 / 8800Ultras.My second rig has two 8800GTS's [ G92 ] that are OCed to a 740 core clock. I'm waiting on the release of the 9800 GX2 as well as the 9800GTX.I'll be buying two of each, and using the GTS's to step up to the GX2s. I am also running two Silverstone `1200w power supplys with 90amps on a single rail. They come with 4 / six pin as well as two 8pin. They are good power supplys, but very expensive $369-$389.

Heck forget the posse, how about adopting a 33 yr old kid ? :)

I don't know if the 9800GX2 can be used in SLI with another 9800GX2 at all. Also, I don't know if SLI with that card brings any real improvements over a single card. It's very likely going to be the same as for 3870X2 Crossfire or for 790FX with 2,3,or 4 HD 3870 cards. That is, the third card adds little value, and the 4th card adds almost nothing at all. Way too early to tell, with the card still in the vaporware stage.

The Antec 190 does NOT have a 1200W PSU. It has a 650W which won't be able to handle two 9800GX2 cards properly IMO, plus a 550W which will be mostly unused. You are better off with a single big PSU like the ToughPower 850W or PC P&C TurboCool 1000W or Enermax Galaxy 1000W.

A 20" monitor doesn't need SLI IMO. I'd downgrade the CPU to a much cheaper Q9450, get a single 9800GX2, and use the savings to buy a 30" Samsung 305T.

Dude that monitor is junk compared to the rest of your rig! No offense, the rest of your rig looks donkey nuts awesome!

For that system you only have two options...3007WFP-HC or the 3008WFP if you have a ton of extra cash to burn.

Crossfire Scales better. If i was placing your kinda money down right this second, I'd get a deal on a 3870X2 and wait for the R770 chips to arrive, or deal with a lovely $185 3870, then plugin a 4870X2 later. if if has to be SLI and it has to be today, dual 8800GTS 512s will pwn.

I whole-heartedly recommend a Seasonic M12 PSU. they are certified 80 plus, making them QUIET at idle, and they are modular. my 700w only came with one 8-pin, however you can email them and they can send extras for low-no cost to you within a week. they sent me some extra adaptors, and got them on the truck the SAME DAY i asked.
