My new PC uses a lot of RAM

Hello, i just made my new pc, and for some reason it uses really much ram (currently 97%)
I dont think it's supposed to do that...
I have 8gb of Corsair Vengeance 1600mhz.
Can someone help or explain?

Well, you appear to have a lot of things open- Assassin's Creed 4, as a game, will likely be using a large chunk. Close some programs you don't need open of the usage is bothering you. Maybe also make sure no malware or viruses are using any system recourses. Hope this helps.

i had a lot of things running but it also does it when i have pretty much nothing running 🙁

Windows 7? That's by design. Not point in paying for all that RAM and then not using it.

Does it cause you problems or are you just worried by numbers?

I have windows 8, and I think it's causing some lag in games.

Maybe you're having an error, such high usage with nothing open. Have you tried restarting your system?
