Hi, i just want to know if my PC is more powerful than the PS4 and will continue to play all ps4 next gen games on ultra at 1080P.

(Just getting worried as i installed my very first game last night which was GTA IV and i only got 30 - 50 FPS on nearly max settings, and this worried me because that game was made in 2011).

My build is:

Intel i5 4440 3.1Ghz
Gigabyte GTX 780 Ti 3GB OC edition
8GB of 1600Mhz DDR3 RAM
Crosair 750W PSU
Windows 8.1

A PS4 is equivalent to a Radeon 7790 plus an AMD FX 6100 (only 6 Cores are available to games). A GTX 780 Ti is far faster than the Mainstream Radeon 7790. Also, you should really reinstall your drivers, that is possibly why you have 30FPS in GTA IV.

Oh, gosh I hope youre joking.

YES. Your system runs circles around a PS4 (which I own and do appreciate). I havent played GTA IV on PC, but have heard some optimization concerns. Your stated frames seem to validate that.

The only way you could improve your system would be to replace the CPU with a 4670K/4770K. Certain titles take advantage of a higher frequency...and 4.0Ghz+ is optimal. That said, you still have a baller' system dude. Love that 780ti...beast of a card.

how much is my CPU holding me back?

I fear that everything else is great but my CPU will be a bottleneck.
