Hello. I recently put together a new PC from scratch. It's my first custom PC. I booted the PC with Ubuntu on a flash drive and on the home screen there was a shortcut entitled "install Ubuntu". I followed the prompts and it said that since there was no previous OS detected on the computer, that I could choose to erase all saved data on the computer so it would partition part of the hard drive for Ubuntu. I agreed, and then the installation wizard wanted to know where I was. I clicked on my home state from a drop-down list and then the computer froze. After waiting 10 minutes, I manually turned off my computer and waited a bit more before turned it back on. Since then, every time I turn my computer on, I see the ASUS logo (the motherboard is ASUS), but I don't go to the BIOS. Instead, all I see is a blinking command line on the top-left corner. If anyone knows how I can fix this, or if I need a new motherboard or hard drive, please respond. Thank you.
