My new pc won't turn on

I am building a pc for the first time. I set it all up, but when I turned it on, nothing happened> Does anyone know why this happened and how to fix it?
Parts:
Case-nzxt s340
Graphics card- Evga gtx 1050
CPU- athalon x4 950
RAM DDR4 1x8Gb g.skill aegis 288-pin 3000
mobo- asrock ab350 pro4
PSU- antec true power trio 650w (given to me by a friend, but i did a paperclip test on it and it worked.)

Refer to your Speaker Beep Codes. That should usually tell you what's wrong. Most common reasons would be you didn't push in the ram stick all the way, or something. Finding out if it's a problem is your GPU seems to be hard, just because the Athlon x4 950 doesn't seem to have Integrated Graphics (to my knowledge).

Maybe it's your monitor. Some monitors don't change it's display automatically, so switch to the display option you're using, ie. HDMI, DP, etc. In rare cases, the monitor won't display images lower than a certain resolution, and since you most likely don't have an OS installed, the BIOS being a low resolution won't display onto the screen. Try plugging it into a TV (with the correct display option of course) and see...

The probability that you probably shorted out your mobo is either small, or high, depending on your environment. Even if you don't feel a static, it could still damage your mobo. Just check the beep codes, and figure it out.
