Question My new Samsung S95B TV says "The audio data is not supported" ?

Hi,

I bought a new Samsung S95B Smart TV.

When I play most of the videos from my external HDD, I get the following error:

The video plays, but the audio does not.

I tried to find the reason, and I think it is related to the DTS audio codec.

Any one experienced this issue before, what is the solution?

mine samsung 2018 model also knows just dolby, but if you get connected some another audio receiver with ARC which can handle DTS (avr/sounbar/etc), then it should play it fine

samsung doesnt supports DTS from 2018 (licence issues)
