Hi All,

Need you help in understanding the issue here.

I recently bought Seagate 2tb expansion External hard disk. I already have 1tb WD elements using from 3+ years.

Issue : New Seagate hard disk stops responding while using (Playing games/copying from it/ writing to it)only when both my external hard isks are connected. If i disconnect my old hard disk, new Seagate will work fine. WD elements works fine even when both are connected. I'm kinda wondering what's this wierd issue happening.

First I thought that i had got a defective Seagate, so returned it and got a replacement. But still same problems even with barnd new replacement product.

Please help.

My PC config -

Running on Win10 64bit latest updat(17134)
CPU : AMD FX 6300 (6 core processor)
Memory - 8GB

Please help.

Some motherboards have issues with USB ports power distribution when having multiple devices attached to numerous USB ports: try switching USB ports around or temporarily using USB 2 port instead of the USB 3 (transfer speed will be much slower of course).
