my new system?

I have ask twice but received no response so I have made my own list.
st is the mobo. asus z87mplus. next the intel I-5 4570. The combo is $334.99. A case for about $50.00. a power unit 600 watt for about $50.00 8gb memory about, about $60.00.
it's more then the $500.00 but should be good for future expansion.
I would like suggestions for better combinations and prices. Thanks for any help I get. Never built one before.

Agree on the overkill motherboard, go for like a nice ASRock mobo, you getting a graphics card?

Thanks Pandabear270 and patrick47018. I don't disagree with you. My intent is to have a unit capable for future add on. I 'm looking at maybe adding a graphic card. I think the cpu will handle graphic's for now. I can also add much more memory if I go into gaming or whatever. An added possibility is the ability to move to a better cpu. It is unlikely that I will go to gaming but may want to try one along the way. I plan to also add a card reader and cd/dvd reader and writer.
It is the mobo and cpu I have been trying to ask about but got no response until you guys came along.
I may be trying to reach to far and that is what i'm hearing. If you have any more suggestions, I would love to hear them.

You don't need more than 8 GB of RAM if your main activity is gaming. In the other hand, if you want to edit multimedia or run heavy load applications such as rendering, or virtual box, then you will need more RAM.
