My newly built gaming PC won’t show display

Hi I just finished building my new computer. Everything seems to be going fine since the light on the motherboard lights up, the GPU fans spins, the CPU cooler spins & the case fan spins. I have checked multiple times if all the wires are connected but I got the same results. Yes my dvi cable is plugged into the GPU, even the fans works.

When turned on there’s a red light and it stays

did you plug in the second atx power cable from psu to board to power cpu if yes then recheck cpu fan if plug in and if you did not bend any pins on the cpu install .

Just did that but no pins are bent. By doing that I accidentally put thermal paste on 3 or 4 pins since I have big fingers. Will that effect?

it could clean them ith isopropyl alcool and let it dry then on the repaste put only a pea spot on the cpu not to much or it will do the same spill out .

All the solutions that you gave me I tried yesterday. What I’m gonna do is that I’m gonna test my motherboard with another CPU at a computer store to see if my motherboard has a defect.

Yesterday I got a replacement for my MSI motherboard and everything worked perfectly. In conclusion my motherboard was faulty and couldn’t recognize any CPU.
