My build: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/pFwHQd

Running stress tests with cinepak, furmark, and 3d mark and it worked just fine. But I am currently playing Legend of Heroes: Trails through Daybreak, and during dialog bits the game sometimes shuts down the PC. No error messages, no crash dumps, nada. Looking at the event logs I do see an Event 41 regarding a shutdown, and an event 1023 failing to load "c:\windows\system32\sysmain.dll"(not sure if this is related). Also when it crashes my hwinfo is not showing anything odd, this game never taxes the cpu or gpu. Earlier when building this PC, getting to the benchmark portion of 3d mark did the same thing 100%, and it was fixed when I changed the the GPU plug to a different location on the PSU (the dark power pro 13 1300W has two 12VHPWR ports).

I tested ram, I did a full system scan, stress tests, updated bios, etc, and nothing has fixed it. Anyone have any insight?

Thanks in advance.

update bios of motherboard
replace PSU with a different brand and model
are you using the 12VHPWR cable delivered with the PSU or a third party one?

run dism commands to check windows

check SSD with Samsung Magician and if available update its firmware.

check the BIOS switch of the GPU, is it completely switched to one side
eventually try the other bios of the card by switching it to the other side

Bios updated.

SSD firmware is up to date.

I cannot afford both monetarily and time wise a new PSU to confirm if its the problem. I was thinking if I isolate all other things possibly before I can contact be quiet with the issue?

I am using the cable that came with the PSU, should I try the other included one? Or the adapter that came with the card? I'm concerned about using the adapter, I am using one of the PCIe connection on the MOBO, and I only got three left on the PSU.

I switched the bios to quiet, I'll try performance now(give me a few days to get back to you on that one).

I switched the bios back to performance mode and lets see. In addition, I reseated the ram.

I'm using 576.28 version of the driver.

Here's a pic of my 12v hi power connector, this is my first experience with it, does it look fully seated?

Also could this be a grid issue? I got a threadripper and a Mac studio pro behind a beefy ups for work in the same room. This pc and another one I built awhile back and an ac unit are all on surge protectors. Should I invest in a ups for this pc?

I would run DDU, and install 566.36, just to rule it out. It's the last known, stable, driver.
It looks like 566.36 does not support Blackwell. I cannot find an agreement on what is the most "stable" driver for blackwell cards.

Also does this look better?

try:

run memtest

You could reinstall the whole system and have a look if it´s happening again.
But without replacing/exchanging components like PSU and GPU, I don´t think you can debug it
