So i have a extra router and i want to know if i connect it via ethernet to my current router which is connected to the modem, will the second router give off internet?

You can't link routers to each other. It won't work like that.

Why would you want another router? It won't give you faster internet anyway.

You actually can link routers to each other, but it may require some configuration so they're not fighting for control.
If you're trying to get more ethernet connections, a Switch is the correct piece of hardware, but a Router is also typically a Switch.

i dont want fast internet just a stable router without tons of people connected to it

The first router will always be a chokepoint between you and the internet.

Better quality routers will be able to handle heavier traffic better, BUT you'll thne be capped by your internet speeds and your ISP.

You can use the router as a switch. It will give you more ports for internet.

We need much more info on the whole connection you have.
Is this your house? College dorm? Apartment?
Who supplies the internet? Who pays for it?
