Hello, this is my first build and I had it for around a year:
CPU: Intel Core i5-7600K
GPU: Nvidia GTX 1060-6GB
SSD: Samsung 750 EVO 250GB
HDD: Toshiba DT01ACA200 2TB
RAM: HyperX Fury DDR4 2133 C14 2x8GB
MBD: MSI B150M GAMING PRO (MS-7994)

Allso an X2 case with 2 extra fans and an evo 120 heat sink. Writing not from home so don't realy recall the correct names.

I'm thinking of an upgrade. But first. What do you think about the build. Are all the parts fit? Like maybe there is something that just should not be together or replaced. I'm asking because I mainly use it for games and most of the time I get high graphics and good fps. Sometimes it seema somethings missing. Could my current build maybe give some more power. Do in mind I don't plan on overcloking anything. So can you give an opinion about the build.

Also I'm thinking about GPU replacement. Going to get a MSI Gaming GTX 1080 8Gb and replace my 1060. To have a beast of machine per say. What do you think about it. I also have an Lg monitor 60hz connected hdmi to dvi-g since GPUs hdmi is taken by HTC vive.

Solution
Currently you have a good GPU and monitor pairing. Moving up to the 10 will be appreciated by the Vive but the monitor won't benefit all that much. It's only capable of displaying 60FPS max so it won't take full advantage of the 1080. Wasted performance.

What do you mean by capable of displaying 60 FPS max, you're problably not talking about in game fps. I play Ark per say and I get barely 20 fps when everything is on Epic, making everything medium and using lounch commands such as Useallavailablecores and direct10 I get 40-70 fps in clear areas. In steam forums everyone told me that a 10series board should not be using a direct 10 lounch command but without it I loose like 20 fps.

My monitor: LG Infinity Display 24MP88/60cm /24

Yeah, ARK is CPU bound. The 7700K would help that.

I am saying that a 1080 is usually not recommended for a basic 1080p 60Hz monitor. I didn't realize the 1060 with a 7600K would appear so weak.
