hi guys is this a good setup? im from south africa the Mobo i will buy in SA and the other stuff ill be buyin from pcpartpicker like newegg etc.. because the prices is better and the shipping is free.

1st tier processor paired with a mid end GPU. they always say get mid end procie and high end gpu. unless you plan on upgrading that 270x sometime in the future...

Are you planning to overclock with that unlocked K series CPU? Because if you are, you want a Z97 motherboard.

The CPU and GPU selection are fine for entry level gaming. If you want mid to high level gaming you'll want a better GPU but if your budget is limiting you then it is what it is. You can only afford what you can afford and if you're having to have things shipped from out of country it will likely be expensive.

so what will u guys rather choose? z97 pc mate mobo with the same setup? im planning to upgrade later of time if i need to just want to know if this is good for gaming in 2015? or must i change the whole setup for future upgrades?

Cheap is right. That board has poor thermals. I would not choose that board for overclocking.

so what board would be good for future upgrading? i picked that board because it had 4th and 5th gen support but if it is not good for overclocking and upgrading ill rather leave it and pick one that is better

ohk thanx ill get the z97 pc mate mobo and keep the same setup and change the 750w psu with a 650w for incase i buy better gpu that the psu can support it

Might get i5 4590 + Asrock H97 Pro4 + R9 280X . i5 4590 is enough

R9 280X can run any game

any i5 4th gen is enough for gaming today and probably 2 more years... if you are planning on upgrading later the r9 270x is sufficient for 1080p gaming (ultra w/o msaa)
