My pc can`t detect my cpu fan !

Neither BIOS nor SpeedFan can detect my cpu fan and i dont know the reason. My cpu fan is Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo . My motherboard is gigabyte 970a-ds3p . It is a new computer and the fan is working perfectly fine . Only problem is that the pc cant detect the cpu fan... Please help
