I'm trying to dual boot OSX on my PC. I burned the dmg on my USB and set boot priority to usb but whenever I try to boot it says no boot device. The usb is recognized when I'm using my computer

There are many places where you can get an OSX dmg (torrents for example)

2. Legal or illegal, you still haven't explained how you can use that image file to make a bootable USB device without using a Mac.

That's not a legitimate source and in some cases flat out illegal, and can have a multitude of issues such as built in malware, broken security allowing someone to remote into the system without your knowlwdge. Do you own a legit copy of OSX?
