[SOLVED] My PC completely turns off when CPU stress testing.

As the title says. This only happens when i use OCCT stress test and other ones work fine.

You either have power supply issues or thermal issues

Yeah, either PSU or thermal problems. If thermal, your motherboard is probably at fault as the CPU should simply throttle and not hang.

oof its probs thermals cuz i reached about 80 degrees and i only got the psu about a month ago and its silver rated

Well use HW info to find out what your temperatures are and monitor them and if they are problematic you will probably have to change the thermal paste maybe look for a better cooling solution maybe more case fans etc.

What CPU do you have? intel CPUs usually keep working up to 100°C I'm not sure about AMD.
It could also be a shut off setting in the bios as an additional protection regardless of the protection of the CPU itself.
