Hello there!

Recently i've ran into a problem that is weird. Sometimes my PC screen goes black (No Signal) while some features of the PC are still running in the background (I can hear the sound of the game or the voices of my friends on Discord , though they can't hear me back). When I restart my PC I notice that the AMD software won't run (I get this message : "The version of the AMD driver you have installed is not compatible with your current GPU"), and sometimes even the display of the screen will be messed up. So basically the GPU drivers will be corrupt. I will DDU then install the latest drivers for my GPU , and the problem will again happen sometime later. The weird thing is that it doesn't happen necessarily under stress , some times i t happens while playing a game , other times it happens while im sitting idle with only Discord open.

Solutions i have tried so far:
(I have the latest updates on all the drivers and Windows downloaded)
-DDU then clean install of GPU drivers
-Windows format and clean download.
-CMOS reset (When I tried this solution the problem stop existing for a month or so , and then it came back)
-Uninstalled and reinstalled my GPU

My specs are:

Motherboard : ASRock Z68 Pro3 Gen3
CPU : Intel Core i5 2500K
GPU : AMD RADEON RX580 4GB
RAM : 16.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3
OS : Windows 10
PSU : Xilence XP650R12 650W

Any insight will be highly appriciated !

Is there any kind of overclocking being used on the system? It's an odd sounding issue. What are you using for storage, and have you ran on stresstests on it? My other thought is the GPU starting to fail itself. BIOS updated to the latest version available, though years back at this point. Even with the issue showing up nearly at idle, have you tried to force the issue with GPU stresstest software?

Are there any other anomalies occurring besides GPU corruption/driver problems? It's so specific, that it seemingly the GPU itself is the most likely. What PSU are you using as well?

Hello there ! Thank you for your responce !

-No I dont and actually i havent overclocked my PC ever.
-For storage I use Samsung SSD 850 Pro 240 GB (for my Windows) and 465GB Western Digital WDC WD5000AAKX-00ERMA0. Actually i haven't ran any stress tests on my storage ., i will be doing that.
- On GPU i have ran a stresstest using 3dMark and there where no issues. I used to have a RX580 before this one which was failing , and the issue was way more obvious (there where glowing lights everywhere and weird colors). I forgot to mention but i constantly check the temperatures and are as to be excpected.
-Actually i havent updated my BIOS which could be a problem so i will look into it as well.
- I have not seen any other anomalies , not to my limited knowledge.
- PC is very old so i dont remember the PSU im using so i will open the PC and update the main thread with my PSU .
