Hello, I just got a new GPU, I mounted it in my PC, everything is plugged in how it previously was, but there is no power to my computer, these are my specs: PSU: Thermaltake Smart SE 530
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H81M-S2V
CPU: Intel i3 4170
RAM: Corsair XMS3 2x4 GB 1600Mhz
Old GPU: MSI AMD Radeon HD 6850 1GB 256-bit GDDR5
New GPU: MSI Gaming AMD Radeon R9 380 4GB 256-bit GDDR5
The problem that I think it is that my old GPU was powered by a 6-pin PCI-E Connector while the new one is powered by 2 6-pin connectors and there's only one plugged in. If you know the solution please tell me. :)

New PSU mate - - one that has two 6-pin connectors if your existing PSU only has one of them.

However, only having one of them connected wouldn't stop the PC from powering up unless the PSU isn't adequate for the system specs now that you've installed a different GPU.

You need advice on that from someone else on the forum, I'm not very hot on PSU recommendations.

Hi, thank you for being kind and answering but my PSU has two 6-pin PCI-E ports but I do have only one cable, so I guess it means I have to buy another cable, I hope that is the only problem out there.
