my pc crashes when i was playing games its not a blue screen error i know it so i have attached a photograph of my pc wen it was crashed plz help me out guyz ty.

My pc configuration
Processor : Core i7
motherboard: ASUS Maximus VIII HERO
PSU: RM 750 X
CPU cooler : cooler master 212
harddisk :7200rpm 500 gb
monitor : samsung 22 inches monitor

NO GPU planning to but gtx 1070.

Which CPU cooler are you using? Check your CPU temperature while gaming. I7 can get quite hot in case of inadequate cooling, and if that happens, you might even experience crashes.

Does your computer perform a full reset when that happens or simply crashes to desktop? If the latter, maybe you forgot to install drivers for the motherboard and integrated GPU.

Have you got any fans or did you check your WC is working correctly ?
Have you tried running a toaster Game ? like i dunno... Doom ? Sims 2000 or GTA Vice City or something that really demands very little of your PC ? If so... are On board drivers properly installed ?

i have the stock fans installed by cooler master
Yes i have to power off the smps to make it work again ( when it crashes i can see vertical small box box display of the game uneven)
i have installed mother board drivers

DOTA 2 ,no fans installed its inbuilt fans from coolermaster,

So Besides Dota 2 does not have THE GRAPHICS... its recommended to play the game with a GPU cause it is pretty demanding for an Onboard graphics card... Even if so... it should not crash BUT it could be a valve issue directly with your onboard. Try Downloading League of legends (not a joke) that is a much inferior moba in graphic quality. Or if you dont ever wanna install LOL wich i dont blame you for that... just download a game with a VERY low graphic demand like titles i mentioned before... GTA vice City or similars.

Also for what are you saying i presume you are trying to run Dota 2 on standard graphics on 1080p. Am i wrong ?

Can you test with a different PSU? Your current one is a very good model for the job, it can even power a very decent discrete GPU, but it might be a faulty unit, so it would be adviseable to check.

Dude he is trying to run dota 2 at 1080p on onboard graphics... dont blame the PSU. Im pretty sure he is Over demanding the OnBoard graphics...

Still, it should not crash. It would run slow as hell, for sure, but crashing is something that should not happen. OP, did you try lowest resolution and lowest details? Does it happen then as well?

maybe developers dosent really think someone will even try to play a next generation moba with an OnBoard graphics so they didnt adapt the game to those onboard graphics ... I mean, it sounds kinda crazy to even try to play like that...

Some games also need high levels of graphics memory - check how much you reserved for graphics in BIOS (of course, your RAM will be lowered by that amount, since RAM is shared between the iGPU and system).

I got 16 gb ram gskill ripjaws v i play dota 2 in lower resolutions very low still i face this issue

with my old psu i faced many crashes 3 times in a week (hunt key)
now i face around 1 time in a week (rm750X)

i dont know how to upload the picture in toms hardware or i would have done it to show how the crash is.

As noted, in computer world, crash once a week is not even considered a problem... and a discrete GPU will likely solve the issue. Noone can be 100% sure, but it is very likely. Not to mention, performance and graphics quality will be much higher.
