Question my pc has been running slow

my pc is sort of lagging and fort some reason my gpu is spiking to 100% some times for no apperent reason. when i move some windows around it is kinda lagging behind and my chrome has been lagging aton. i have also reset my pc because my pc was abit slow.

specs:
ryzen 9 5900x
gtx 1060
16gigs ram
350 mbps

What programs are running? Have you more than one antivirus program running at once?
Have you installed some potentially suspicious appz lately ?

What type of storage do you have? Are windows installed on an SSD?
Have you installed the newest GPU drivers?

Also, since you have reset the pc, install the latest Windows updates.

i have not downloaded any sus programs and i only had task manager, chrome, discord, teams, battle.net and such. and i do have windows downloaded on an m.2 ssd. altough the m.2 is quite old ,but still have 37 gb of 120gb open.

Have you had a look at the m.2 s.m.a.r.t. values? There may be an obvious clue in those data.

Well, then everything is just fine and maybe it's just your expectation of the computer that is too high for it to perform accordingly ?

Or, you could share the smart data and maybe get a second opinion.

the problem i found was that i wasnt experiencing any issues but suddenly my pc began to run abit laggy
