I have internet speeds that goes up to 200Mbps but for some odd reason the speed on my PC slows down whenever I download something. I’m connected with a LAN cable since my PC doesn’t have wifi and the highest it gets up to is 2mbps on Steam/Epic. While it’s downloading I can’t even browse the internet or stream 1080p videos without it buffering. I checked my brothers PC (he’s using LAN too) and his speeds are faster than mine. I’ve already checked with my ISP several times they said nothing is wrong on their end. I tried updating the motherboard drivers, resetting the network settings but nothing gives. The speeds are just fine when i’m not downloading.

My PC:
Ryzen 7 1700
GTX 1070
ASUS PRIME B350 Plus
16GB RAM
500GB Samsung 850 Evo

if you can get into your isp's router check the port your are connected to. I was just poking around in the one I have and found it is a fast ethernet port(100mb).
