So yea as the title says, however its not a random occurrence. It only happens when my computer wakes up from sleep, and rarely when i boot it up. The screen freezes but i can freely move my mouse. I usually restart it and its fine, sometimes the windows startup logo will get stuck and never go to the login screen so i restart it a second time.

I have no clue where to start and how to fix this. I mean i don't mind restarting it if thats the only option i have but its such a minor inconvenience every time and i know for a fact it will wear down my pc much faster, so I'd rather be rid of this. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks

it could be any of the ones below.

nvidia driver to be reapplied.
drive is failing.
ram is failing.

can you first check your event viewer (press winkey+xv). left tree navigation. custom. administrative. scroll down to the times where you startup your pc. and check if there are any errors.

Yea just did what you said, and i got a whole mess of errors and warnings, im not sure if its correlated with the pc logins, but there are a lot. I have no clie what any of these descriptions mean. What should i do next?
