I have had this problem before. Many times.I was a total noob back then and always got it repaired from a shop. You,too, must be familiar with this kind of a problem. The problem is:

You must be knowing that there are 2 LEDs in front of a case. One is power LED and the other is HDD LED.But I will refer to them as green light and other light respectively. The green light lights up when the PC powers up.I don't exactly know what the other light mean but it has got to do something with RAM or Hard Drive. Many a times when the other light doesn't light up, we(at least me) take out the ram and just clean it a bit and then put it back and the PC would start working.
I tried cleaning the RAM but it doesn't seem to work.I want to know a solution for this for future as I have already given it in a shop near-by to repair. But I would like to learn how to repair it on my own.I don't think it's that big of a deal. Thanks in advance to the ones who are answering to this thread,It is a real pleasure of mine.

If you haven't understood what i have said, please let me know through a reply..

This was a three month old PC that I had built. This was my first custom build PC.It's specs are
Intel Core i3 6100 3.7 gHz dual core processor LGA 1151
Gigabyte B150M-D3H mobo LGA 1151
8 GB DDR4 Memory(1*8GB)
1 TB WD Blue HDD 7200 RPM
Sapphire RX 470 4GB GDDR5 GPU single fan
Corsair VS550 550W PSU
Circle CC821 Gaming Cabinet.

Pray Tell me your thoughts about my build too.It is low budget build but awesome for gaming.

Thank you again..

Had the same problem, everytime I tried to enable XMP for ram on my previous board, I would just turn off the PC, take out CMOS battery for bios restart and RAM and hold power button for 30 seconds to restart bios, then i would put in back CMOS battery and 1 stick of ram turn on the pc and turn it off and then another stick of ram. That always helped me, don't know why tho 😀

It would appear looking at the motherboard, that it's not compatible with the DDR4 Ram you have installed. The Gigabyte B150M-D3H LGA 1151 is only compatible with DDR3 Ram.

There is a motherboard that looks identical to the one that you have installed, the difference is being the (Gigabyte Motherboard Micro ATX DDR4 LGA 1151 GA-B150M-D3H-GSM) is compatible with DDR4 Ram and your current motherboard (Gigabyte B150M-D3H LGA 1151) is not unfortunately.

+ Gigabyte Motherboard Micro ATX DDR4 LGA 1151 GA-B150M-D3H-GSM = DDR4 compatible
+ Gigabyte B150M-D3H LGA 1151 = DDR3 compatible.

I checked on pc part picker and the gigabyte website and he mobo box.DDR4 2133 mhz RAM is compatible.I've used this PC for 3 months with no problems at all.I dont know whether this has to do something with my poblem but my Windows 10 was not activated. Can that be a problem??I dont know.

Ah okay so you have the DDR4 compatible version of the Gigabyte motherboard.

The green light that you're mentioning is the presumably the power indicator LED; like you said. However, the red LED is the hard drive activity light. Basically blinks when the hard is active or performing tasks, like loading programs, moving files etc...

In terms of no display appearing on your monitor, an un-activated Windows 10 would not cause the display not to appear. It's likely a GPU issue, if you are saying that your display does not appear on the monitor.

Have you tried updating drivers, ensuring connection between GPU and monitor input is good?

I had the drivers updated and all that.I even tried to power up the pc after removing the gpu and still no result.I suspect that the fault is of the motherboard because there were some LED's on the mobo itself which were lighting up which i suspect to be he line which separates the audio related parts from the other part of the mobo to ensure interference free audio. Those LED's are not lighting up anymore. So I guess it is the fault of the mobo and I am going to claim warranty for it.I don't know what is the exact reason for he mobo failure but I guess that My sister switched off the pc directly from the main switch while I was away and then the next boot created problems. Thanks to all those who have helped me by giving their opinions and reviews
