My PC freezes for about 15 seconds, It happens randomly. I can still hear audio fine when the freeze is happening but I can't interact with anything in windows.
Right now I have curve optimizer enabled for Negative 30 on all cores. I tried default settings but the problem still occurred. I also tried disabling xmp profile
every driver is up to date I don't know whats causing this but it driving me crazy. I have 2 normal ssds one 128gb ( with windows on it ) and the other one is 1tb I have to mention that the 128gb ssd is about 8 years old. Could that be the problem? or is it the processor?
Ryzen 7 5800x
Gigabyte aorus elite wifi x570
32gb ram
1tb ssd
gtx 970
750w psu

shame its random or I would suggest safe mode to see if its hardware or drivers.

Latest bios on motherboard? Since thats my mb, its easy to find the link - https://www.gigabyte.com/au/Motherboard/X570-AORUS-ELITE-WIFI-rev-1x/support#support-dl-driver

latest chipset drivers? - https://www.amd.com/en/support/chipsets/amd-socket-am4/x570

Try a clean boot and see if it changes anything - make sure to read instructions and make sure NOT to disable any microsoft services or windows won't load right - https://support.microsoft.com/en-au/help/929135/how-to-perform-a-clean-boot-in-windows
It doesn’t delete anything, it just stops non Microsoft programs running with start. Easy to reverse.
if clean boot fixes it, it shows its likely a startup program. You should, over a number of startups. restart the programs you stopped to isolate the one that is to blame.
