My PC is really hot all the time and it is causing my cpu fan to run way too loud all the time

Every time I turn on my PC it is really loud and when I use it for a while it gets hot. The PC is so loud I can hear it downstairs when I leave it on. The PC also makes my room very hot after using it too. I took off the side of the case to see what was the problem and then my CPU fan finally decided to stop being as loud(it still wasn't being quiet). And without the side to the case on my PC actually runs without being as hot.
My theory is that it gets way too hot inside my PC and there isn't enough airflow inside of it so it overheats most of the time.
Any suggestions?

AMD FX 8320
GTX 760
8GB ram
Corsair CX750M
Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 Micro ATX AM3+ Motherboard

download HWmonitor and check your temps. Might need to add/replace fans. Make sure you have fans blowing in and out. You need the in fans to bring cool air in and exhaust fans to blow hot air out.

I run dual 970's and when I play games my room gets very hot also. This could be normal.

I hate loud fans and always buy high quality silent fans. My suggestion to you would be to do the same.

If cpu fan had been running at max speed and slowed down when case side open it confirms your theory that it is too hot in the case

but what has changed recently to cause the problem

Have you looked for blocked dust filters on the case
If there are any case fans are they running

I see you have an FX 8320... Are you using the stock cooler?

A good use for AMD stock coolers is to test the penetration of your pellet gun. I recommend the Cryorig H7 CPU cooler.

As for your room heating up, that can't really be helped.

You see, we can make heat, but we can't make cold. All we can do to cool something down is to move the heat somewhere else. In this case, it's being moved to the air flowing through the cooler and exhausted out the chassis, thus heating up your room.

How many of what size fans do you have in your chassis and which are intake vs exhaust?

What is the config of your fans? Do you have front pointing in? Side panel fan pointing in? Rear exhaust fans?

You said it gets loud, what fan gets loud? Is it the CPU or the GPU fan?

Do you use cable management?
Are the fans mounted correctly?(seen myself someone who has mounted his exhaust fan as intake)
Which fans & coolers do you use?
Is something blocking the airflow f.e. a lot of drives right behind the intake fan?

As stated by others, you need to ditch that stock AMD cooler, they are loud and ineffective.

Then look at your case fans. You should have at least 3-4 good sized fans (120-140mm or bigger).
Fans should be sucking IN cold air from front (or bottom) of case and exhausting out the back and top of case (assuming bottom mount PSU).
