Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Solution

That's why. Your fan is running at fan speeds all the time, and it's not be regulated by the motherboard. Plug it to the CPU_FAN header.

Yes, it's loud just idling, doing nothing, the noise is constant.
I suspect the noise might be comingfrom my new CPU Cooler, because since I installed it it today, the computer sounds louder than before and it's the only thing that's changed.

You CPU cooler is plugged into the CPU_FAN header and not a SYS_FAN header?

Yes. Only the CPU cooler should go in the CPU_FAN. Right now your CPU cooler is running like a case fans, which is probably 100% all the time. Your case fans, is probably running a bit low. Switch them, and you should notice a change.

Thank you, Herc08! The problem was that the CPU cooler was not plugged into the CPU_FAN slot. Now that I switched it, the computer is almost completly silent, I couldn't believe it was fixed.
