My PC isnt running as it should be

the title says it all really, my specs are
i5 4460,
gtx 760,
8gb ram
1tb hhd.
I can barely run Far Cry 3 on low at 30fps and i cant even run Fallout New Vegas on high at 30fps. I am only finding this strange because my friend can run Far Cry 3 on ultra at 30-40fps and Watch Dogs the same as well as the battlefield hardline beta when it was on at 30fps on ultra, and he has the exact same specs as me. Is there something wrong, am i bottlenecking, oh and i also have all the latest drivers for my graphics card, thanks for your responses.

Shouldn't be an issue but what size PSU do you have, recommended size is 500W (you can get away with less if you have a quality unit, but if its a cheap PSU and lower powered may be causing your issue)

Umm, have you got your monitor plugged into your graphics card, or direct into the motherboard? Because it sounds like you're using the integrated graphics
